Assessments · reviews · plans

A second set of eyes. Before the problem gets a vote.

Independent education, planning, and advisory reviews for private residences, privately owned businesses, private events, and individuals. No equipment sales. No paid referrals. No one-size-fits-all shopping list.

01 / REVIEW

Security assessments

A practical second look at the environment, routines, access, visibility, procedures, and gaps between them.

  • Residential security reviews
  • Small-business operational security
  • Private-event planning
  • Camera objectives and blind spots
  • Lighting, access, alarms, and routines
02 / DOCUMENT

Plans and documents

Review or development of plans meant for the people who must actually use them outside the meeting room.

  • Emergency and response plans
  • Procedures and checklists
  • Opening and closing routines
  • Incident and escalation processes
  • Plain-language document rewrites
03 / PROJECT

Project risk review

A conflict-aware review before decisions harden into expensive infrastructure, awkward operations, or workarounds.

  • User and stakeholder needs
  • Access and movement
  • Operational ownership
  • Technology requirements
  • Implementation gaps
04 / DIRECTION

Research and consultation

Clear questions, decision frameworks, and direction when you know something needs attention but do not yet know what to buy—or whether buying anything is the answer.

  • Technology-neutral research
  • Content and campaign review
  • Training and workshops
  • Speaking and educational sessions
  • Referral to qualified specialists

One method

A clear, proportionate process.

The scope changes with the problem. The discipline does not.

01 / CONTEXT

Understand the place

Who uses it, what they need, what has happened, and what normal looks like.

02 / CONFLICT

Find the collision

Where goals, routines, vulnerabilities, and human behaviour work against each other.

03 / ACTION

Make it usable

Priorities, realistic controls, ownership, and the next decision.

What I do not provide

You Missed Something provides independent education and advisory recommendations. Services do not include:

Security guards, patrols, or bodyguard services

Legal, insurance, or code-compliance opinions

Private investigations or surveillance of people

Guarantees that incidents or losses will be prevented

Guard or investigator procurement

Government or public-sector consulting at this time

Equipment sales, installation, or repair

Representing clients before government bodies

Electrical, engineering, or life-safety certification

Commissioned installer, brand, or vendor referrals

Site visits and formal client reports will be offered only when appropriate agreements, authorization, and insurance arrangements are in place. Final equipment selection, installation, electrical work, networking, and code compliance must be completed or verified by appropriately qualified and, where required, licensed professionals.

Not sure where your request fits?

Describe the problem—not the product.

A short conversation can clarify whether this is an advisory request, a future assessment, or something better handled by a licensed specialist.
